Behind ESSEDUE PROMOTION there is Stefano Sammarini, from Rimini, but actually "very Milan" and a bit Roman because of his past jobs.
He started his career 20 years ago, and his path has been always in rising. Most of these professional jobs are connected to the sports world, but also with good issues in other fields (marketing consulting, fashion shows, models management and lately even fashion manifacturing) Sport at 360°, with several important roles at the beginning: marketing assistant at Nike Italy; contracts promoter and then advisor at Wilson Sporting Goods, where he worked from 1989 to 1994.
Then Sammarini decided to try to go on alone, founding ESSEDUE PROMOTION.
With the know-how acquired and, overall, with the trust vested among the athletes and the sponsor-companies, he came up building a good account of players. He looks after and manages the image of big Italian athletes, most of them are even the n.1 in their sport: Carlton Myers (basketball), Filippo Magnini (swim), Davide Sanguinetti and Filippo Volandri (tennis).
The following step, on the urge of the firms that require athletes for their advertising plans (most of them really successfully, like Tartufone and Maxicono, and then Dolce&Gabbana and Armani), has been the widening of the job activity, with the organization of big events. Only sport events, at the beginning, like “Opel: Un campione per Amico”, “Maxicono Tour Sport on the Beach” sponsored by Nestlé and finally “Rollerblade Tour” sponsored by the Benetton Group.
Then show-business events, as instance the “Maxibon Show” with very important artists as Alexia e the Zelig comics. The result? A success, that made Sammarini one of the most important events-manager in Italy, also due to the support of very important clients: NESTLE', DOLCE&GABBANA, MERCEDES, GIORGIO ARMANI (with the brand EA7), WILSON, BENETTON GROUP (with the brands: PRINCE, PLAYLIFE, ROLLERBLADE), OPEL, FILA, SERGIOTACCHINI, LOTTO, ERICSSON, CEPU, NISSAN, SNAI SERVIZI, REEBOK, IES, AGIP, INA-ASSITALIA, LOTTOMATICA, MONTEPASCHI, FIAT GROUP, ARENA, HEAD, ASICS.
